Meet the Maker

Hey! Let me officially introduce myself. I’m Julia and I’m the maker behind J Bridget Creations! I’m a dog mom and live in downtown Calgary with the best boy, Wicket. 

I started this little company in 2014 after getting into jewelry making as a hobby and loving the creative outlet it gave me. I’m a full time junior high teacher (Math, English & Art) but I make time to run my jewelry business on the side (and summers too!) because I enjoy the process so much.

I started as a vendor at local markets in the Calgary area in 2015, and I have to say, markets are still my favourite part of the business because I get to meet so many amazing people and small business owners! I love the maker community I’ve become part of and all the friendships & connections I’ve made over the years.

My pieces are inspired by things I love, like snowboarding & hiking in the mountains, nerdy stuff like Harry Potter, gemstones, nature, and geometric math inspired designs.
